The University now seeks to appoint a Lecturer in Geotechnical Engineering within the School of Science, Engineering and Technology.
The School of Science, Engineering and Technology has a diverse and established range of teaching including civil engineering, environmental management, biomedical and forensic sciences and food nutrition and health. The School houses Abertay’s internationally renowned environmental science and engineering and biomedical research.
Reporting to the Head of the Division of Natural and Built Environment you will be expected to lead developments in teaching and research in the area of geotechnical engineering whilst supporting teaching and research activities in structural engineering.
The role requires knowledge and competency of industry standard practices and design and analysis packages and an established independent research profile. You should possess or be willing to work towards Chartered membership of ICE or IStructE or equivalent bodies.
