The University now seeks to appoint a Lecturer in Water Engineering within the School of Science, Engineering and Technology 

The School of Science, Engineering and Technology has a diverse and established range of teaching including computer security, human-computer interaction, user-centred design, theoretical computing, mathematical modelling and intelligent systems. The School houses Abertay’s internationally renowned environmental science and biomedical research, and also delivers high quality teaching in biotechnology, civil engineering, food and health science and forensic science. 

Reporting to the Divisional Leader Environmental Engineering and Systems Visualisation you will be expected to lead/contribute to developments in teaching and research in the area of Water Engineering. 

The role requires knowledge and competency in water industry practices and the sustainable design and operation of relevant aspects of centralised and distributed water and waste water distribution and treatment systems. You should possess or be willing to work towards Chartered membership of ICE, CIWEM or equivalent bodies.
