LoCal-Net Event Free for Construction, Manufacturing and Waste SMEs. Re-Thinking Materials: Profit from Innovation event will take place on 16 November in Dundee

Thinking differently about how we source and use materials in manufacturing and construction can open up new markets and opportunities for businesses to grow.  The low carbon economy is stimulating new thinking about how we source and use materials in manufacturing and construction, opening up new markets and opportunities for businesses to grow.  Scotland has an impressive capability in the area of advanced materials and there is potential for almost every sector to get involved from the design and use of new and lower carbon construction materials, to finding new uses for waste as a raw material in manufacturing.

This FREE event hosted by LoCal-Net, Material Innovation Service and Architecture & Design Scotland provides an opportunity for businesses to hear about the latest innovations in construction materials and novel uses for waste along with stories of how businesses are diversifying materials portfolios to service new needs of the low carbon economy.
