The course delivers technical information for the design of SUDS and has been re-developed to reflect recent changes in legislation, design and ownership responsibility for SUDS in the UK. The course is suitable for those involved with the design, auditing and adoption of SUDS. The current course content is shown below, however please note that the course will undergo revision before the next run (August 2016) to bring content in line with the new SuDS Manual (C753), specifically changes to guidance for design for treatment. The course covers guidance for both Scotland and England and provides a sound basis for knowledge development.

The course is run over a period of 10 weeks and we recommend that you allocate approximately 2-3 hours per week for study time. Delivery is entirely online and you are able to access the course website 24/7 so that you can study at times convenient to yourself. A DVD and workbook are also provided, which give you additional reference materials, whilst the tutor is available online to answer any questions you may have as you work through the course. The course is assessed via two main pieces of coursework and several self-test quizzes.
