Kiran Tota-Maharaj from Abertay University will describe how we can access low-cost renewable energy by combining heat pumps in wetlands. This can be achieved by creating constructed wetlands, which are engineered systems which store water and filter out pollutants.
Kiran describes a novel method for combining natural processes, engineered water management and new technologies to provide the multiple benefits of wastewater treatment, heating and cooling within urban developments.
This event takes place in the relaxed atmosphere of Dundee Science Centre’s infusion cafe.
Everyone is welcome. Non-bookable. Please arrive early to avoid disappointment.Back
