The University of Abertay are hosting two workshop on Accessing Online Environmental Information. The objective of the workshops is to determine how environmental information is currently accessed by different users and more importantly how this process can be made easier. The findings of the workshop will be used to create a vision for the future development of Scotland's Environment Web (SEWeb), a web site who's primary function is to act as a source for information about Scotland's Environment for a wide range of interested users. The current site can be viewed at http://www.environment.scotland.gov.uk/.
In total the workshops last around 2 hours and involves a range of activities looking at how participants feel they would like to access environmental information. A full work shop brief is attached to this email. The workshops will be held on the 3rd and 14th December 2012, 11.00 to 13.00 at University of Abertay Dundee, SRO meeting room.
